Role of transport and communication

The transport and communication are of the basic importance in the development process of a country.

Transport Sector

Transport sector is composed of roads network,railways,air transport services and shipping services.

Communication

The communication sector includes postal,telephone, and telegraphic services and mass media i.e T.V and Radio.
The role of transport and communication in economic development is summed up under the following three heads.
